RAJOURI, Dec 1: Former legislator and Congress candidate from Kalakote Assembly constituency, Ashok Sharma today said that Kalakote constituency will be made a developed hub, where every house shall have 24 hour water and power supply to all habitations, road connectivity, educational and health institutions, ration depot’s and all other facilities in next three years.
Sharma was addressing people of the Kalakote constituency while inaugurating his election office at Kalidub in the constituency.
He also interacted with the people during his door-to-door campaign at Bandian and Potha Dangar and referred to urgent need for ensuring irrigation facilities for boosting agricultural production in the area.
Sharma assured that after formation of the new Government, he will launch a massive programme for tapping all water resources to augment irrigation facilities in the Kalakote Assembly constituency, so that every field gets assured irrigation facilities.
Congress leader said that Kalakote Thermal Power House will be got commissioned shortly and the entire micro hydro power potential will be fully harnessed so that instead of importing power, Kalakote will be able to export electricity to other parts of the State.
He said that he has a clear vision and road map for fast track all round development of Kalakote Assembly constituency to make it a role model in J&K.
