Randhir Singh seeks support for NCP from Marh constituency

JAMMU, Dec 1: State president NCP Thakur Randhir Singh has sought people support for party candidate from Marh constituency Sandeep Singh Manhas.
He added that the Marh area is neglected and no development has taken place in this area due to apathetic attitude of the successive MLAs, MLCs and Ministers.
He said that the Marh constituency has been totally neglected in every sphere, whether it is agriculture, roads, schools, employment, health and irrigation.
Singh added that the biggest injustice was done with the owners of Chinnore farmers from 25 villages whose land was taken by the Agriculture Department for seed farming on lease basis for fixed time but after the expiry of lease time they have been deprived from their land.
He said NCP has launched movement to get their land back under the powerful Chinnore Farm Farmers Association led by Devinder Singh Manhas and other members.
He said that NCP has pledged for creation of Border scouts on the pattern of Ladakh scouts which will be fully armed and to be paid monthly salary, adding that the border area will be developed as special zone by the Central Government by providing simple interest loans to grow vegetables, aromatic and medicinal plants, dairy farm and poultry farm.
Singh requested the voters of Marh to support NCP candidate Sandeep Manhas, who is well educated, student leader and son of the soil.
While speaking, Sandeep Manhas reiterated to work for the holistic development of the Marh constituency.
