JAMMU, Dec 1: On the eve of 49th BSF Raising Day, Ftr HQ Jammu organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Department of Blood Transfusion, Government Medical College Jammu, today at Ftr Hospital Jammu in which 115 Officers/SOs and ORs donated their blood to save the precious lives of needy patients.
Rakesh Kumar Sharma, IG BSF Jammu delivered a lecture on the importance of blood donation and appreciated the work done by volunteer blood donors. This blood camp was organized by the efforts Dr Vinod Kumar, Commandant (Med), Ftr Hospital Jammu and his dedicated Medical Staff.
Dr Rubia Rehan, MO In-charge Blood Bank, GMCH also gave her valuable thoughts on the importance of blood donation.
