JAMMU, Dec 2: Since last Parliamentary elections BJP is keeping on insulting the India as a nation. But I will not let their lies unnoticed in the city of temples, as I am contesting this election to serve my people and to oppose the election tactics of BJP to propagate free India as a defunct country for electoral gains.
Congress candidate of Jammu West Constituency, Surinder Singh Shingari, said this after filing his nomination papers here at Town Hall. He was accompanied by thousands of his supporters.
“India fought freedom struggle under the leadership of Congress and became Nuclear Power of the world in 1974 during Congress rule. In 1971 war, under Congress rule, one lakh neighboring Army was captured, but how BJP leadership says that nothing is done by India during last 67 years?” Shingari asked.

Millions of Indian have mobile in their hands because it was brought in India in 1995 under Congress rule. Internet came to India in 1987 under Congress rule, but BJP use it to say Congress did nothing” Shingari said.
“Railway project to Katra was completed by Congress Government and Narendra Modi just cut the ribbon. We see, railways, metro railways, roads, hospitals, universities, professional colleges producing millions of talented youth raising Indian pride at home and abroad as well , but BJP says Congress did nothing” Shingari added
He said that all above achievements and development was result of responsible governance and blood- sweat of every Indian, but BJP, in a way, has propagated sixty five years BJP free India as a defunct country. “BJP leadership is not insulting Congress but insulting 65 years old free India”, he said.
