JAMMU, Dec 2: Rajesh Gupta candidate Jammu East conducted door to door campaigning in the areas of Kaleeth Nagar and Gandoo Ki Chowni. The response in both the areas was overwhelming and people came out in large numbers to welcome the BJP workers led by Rajesh Gupta.
Rajesh Gupta while interacting with the people said that Jammu East represents the precious legacy of stalwarts like Pt Prem Nath Dogra and he is very fortunate that BJP has given him mandate from this Assembly segment.
Gupta recalled his experiences of working as a Corporator. He said that traffic congestion in Jammu East is adversely affecting the business of the area. Many businessmen have been forced to shift from the area due to the absence of proper parking spaces. There is a need to seriously address this problem in immediate future. Jammu East has many places and areas of historical significance and there is a need to preserve and protect them and encourage tourists to visit them in large numbers. This would help in improving the economy of the area significantly.
Rajesh Gupta said “Jammu East is a mosaic of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian unity and his endeavor would be the involvement of all and development of all .“In times to come I have a vision to develop Jammu East as a Model Constituency. Unemployment amongst our youth also needs to be tackled on war footing basis. In my area the problem of people living in custodian properties needs to be addressed by granting them proprietary rights.”, he added.
The prominent among those who attended the function were Pradeep Sharma, Krishan Lal, Sachin, Rajesh, Anil, Kuldeep and Murari Lal Ji.
