JAMMU, Dec 2: The CPC subsidiary canteen running in Group Centre Bantalab was renovated with more space and equipped with all facilities giving it a modern Shopping Centre look fitted with AC, CCTV cameras, modern display racks etc, which was opened for the force personnel and families after duly inaugurated by Savi Tayal, president Zonal CWA, J&K Zone, CRPF.
Rozy Dhar, Sector head CWA, all CWA functionaries, Arun Kumar, DIGP GC Bantalab, Vinay Anand Prakash, Commandant, other officers of GC Bantalab and all staff were present. The Canteen Chairman on this occasion told that the renovation of canteen has not only given it an exclusive grand look but also increased its sale by three times.
The master canteen at Group Centre Bantalab today provides CPC items to 27 subsidiary canteens in Jammu region. This Subsidiary Canteen under GC Bantalab is now one of the 27 subsidiary canteens with the largest space area and all best facilities of stocking, security, distribution, billing and wide range of household consumer goods at the most reasonable rates in Jammu.
Like other products CPC has also registered two wheeler and four wheeler firms to provide vehicles to own troops at cheaper rates. Later on, Central Police Canteen facilities has also been extended to various departments under MHA personnel and other central security agencies personnel wiz RPF, IB, SPG, NCRB, NIA and all State Police Organizations.
