ESRM stages ‘Jaago Bhandhu Jaago Bhaiya’

JAMMU, Dec 2: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with BLSKS staged Vijay Malla’s famous nukkad natak in Hindustani “Jaago Bhandhu Jaago Bhaiya” at village Dhan in Dansal block, in its Monday Theatre series.
The play written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania, spreads social awareness on the subjects like drug addiction among youth, lack of patriotism among youth, social evils prevailing in the society and to save our culture, language and traditions.
The play questions why our youth indulges in anti social activities and becomes drug addicted. Our society is responsible for that and we should adopt some major remedies to bring our youth in the right direction.
It has been shown in this play that how a young boy is not checked by his parents and he falls in the grip of drug addiction which becomes a major problem for his parents. He is given psychological treatment to divert his attention from drugs.
The play depicts that such bad habits are major reasons for anti social activities and laid importance on spreading awareness among young generation about the repercussions of drug addiction.
Actors who performed in the play were Anuroop Pathania, Vijay Jeetu, Kuldeep Raj (singer), Laksh Bali, Kamli Devi, Rahul Pandita, Surbhi Mahajan and Vijay Malla.
