1 killed, 4 injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Dec 2: One person was killed while four others injured in separate road accidents in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson one Sunil Kumar, son of Ram Dass, a resident of Koh Manhasa, who had yesterday received serious injuries in a road accident at Koh Manhasa, today succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
One Sukhbir Singh (25) son of Tirlok Singh of Ajeet Nagar (Rani Park) also received injuries when the car he was travelling in accidently hit a mountain in Billawar area of Kathua. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Billawar, from where he was later referred to GMCH Jammu.
In another accident at Miran Sahib, one Suresh Kumar (26) son of Bachchan Lal, a resident of Bishnah and her sister, Babli Devi got minor injuries when the bike they were travelling on was hit by a speeding car bearing registration No JK02AB-8998. Both brother and sister were shifted to GMCH, from where after getting first aid they were later discharged.
In another incident at Mir Nagar (Bishnah), a tractor hit a bike and left injured his rider, Ravi Kumar (35) son of Tej Ram, a resident of Mir Nagar. The injured person was immediately shifted to GMCH for treatment, where his condition is stated to be stable.
In all the cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
