JAMMU, Dec 2: National Conference candidate for Jammu West Dharamveer Singh Jamwal on Tuesday said that continuity in the development effort initiated by the Omar led Government during the past six years is needed to be carried forward, as this holds promise for Jammu and Kashmir.
During his door to door campaign in Talab Tillo, Mr Jamwal castigated inimical forces for indulging in rhetoric, saying assuaging political aspirations of the people and undertaking development on a massive scale holds key to steer the state to peace and prosperity.
Exhorting the people to participate in large number in the ongoing elections, Mr Jamwal said that vote to National Conference will be support to the policies and programmes of National Conference led by Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah besides acknowledgement of the developmental initiative taken by the Chief Minister.
Mr Jamwal was accompanied by Chander Mohan Sharma, Sucha Singh, Rashpal Singh and others.
