CRPF jawan killed in Naxal attack cremated with full honours

JAMMU, Dec 3: A jawan of Central Reserve Police Force, who was among the 14 killed in Chhattisgarh Naxal attack, was today cremated with full honours in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Two CRPF jawans of Jammu and Kashmir were also killed in the attack. Rakesh Kumar, son of Tarsem Lal, resident of village Salah, Swankha, Vijaypur, District Samba, who was killed in naxal attack, was cremated with full honours at his native village. IG CRPF, Jammu Region Kuldeep Dhar, local MLA Surjit Singh Slathia, DC Samba Mubarak Singh and SSP Samba Anil Magotra were also present at the last rites ceremony. They paid tributes to the martyred jawan and also laid the wreaths.
Another jawan namely Mohammad Shafi Bhat, son of Mehrajuddin Bhat, resident of Buran, Pattan, Kashmir was also killed in the attack.
Both of them were deployed with 223 Battalion of CRPF and was posted in Sukma area of Chhattisgarh.
