KATHUA, Dec 4: Intensifying the poll campaigning in support of Party candidate from Bani Assembly Segment, Rajneesh Kumar alias Mian, a group of Congress leaders have joined his campaigning from Kathua district to hold door-to-door canvassing in Sarthal, Loang etc bordering Bhadarwah.
The Congress leaders who participated in the campaigning of the Party candidate for Bani included Shamsher Singh Bhandari, Farooq Ahmed Tapal and Tilak Raj Shan.
They while highlighting the policies and programmes of Congress appealed the people to strengthen the hands of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and son of the soil Ghulam Nabi Azad.
They said Mr Azad’s three years rule had witnessed total change in the State and J&K was put on the map of development to make the dream of Naya Jammu & Kashmir a reality. The work culture was established and many public welfare schemes were taken up in hand.
