JAMMU, Dec 4: Deputy Chief Minister, several sitting and former Ministers and MLAs have joined the unending list of crorepatis for the fifth phase of polling in 20 Assembly constituencies of Jammu, Kathua and Rajouri districts to be held on December 20.
Deputy Chief Minister and Congress candidate from Chhamb constituency Tara Chand has movable assets of Rs 63.25 lakh including 10 tolas gold ornaments worth Rs 2.50 lakh, FDRs worth Rs 38 lakh, Rs 14.15 lakh deposit in banks and Rs 0.15 lakh cash in hand while as similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 31.83 lakh including 90 tolas gold jewellery worth Rs 22.50 lakh, Rs 2.73 lakh deposit in bank and CD certificate in CC Bank New Plot worth Rs 0.85 lakh.
He has immovable assets of Rs 1.04 crore including inherited residential house at village Chak Malal worth Rs 10 lakh, 2 kanals non-agricultural land at Paloura, 36 kanals and 8 marlas agricultural land at village Troti, tehsil Khour and village Ranjitpura while as similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 41.04 lakh including dealership in petrol pump at Chak Malal, Khour worth Rs 20 lakh and 4 kanals and 11 marlas agricultural land at village Sehora.
