JAMMU, Dec 5: National Conference (NC) candidate from Jammu West, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, today asked Bharatiya Janata Party to explain to the voters of Jammu West as to what has been their single achievement during the past six years.
“But for the concerted efforts of the Omar led Government, the BJP representatives deserted their constituencies in lurch when these needed adequate attention”, Jamwal said during his door to door campaign at Anand Nagar and Bohri areas of the constituency.
Jamwal said that the constituency has peculiar problems which calls for holistic approach, as far as upkeep of various utility services and development is concerned. “This can’t be achieved unless the people lend their support in a big way”, he said while urging the people to help in making Jammu West a modern constituency of the winter capital.
Jamwal said that NC does not believe in hollow sloganeering as it has chartered an agenda for itself to develop the State on a massive scale. “The past six years of Omar led Government have achieved this in immense measure and the coming years will witness consolidation of the existing schemes and taking up of new ones as per priority of the area”, he said and sought people’s cooperation for realizing the vision of developed Jammu West in next six years.
Those who accompanied Jamwal during his door to door campaign included Rashpal Singh, Block president, Sucha Singh, Shabir Sambyal, Pinky Bhat, Rekha Manhas, Arvind Sharma, Ram Ji Koul, Manohar Lal Bhagat, Pardeep Singh Jamwal, Vijay Mahajan and others.
