UDHAMPUR, Dec 5: A young housewife died under mysterious circumstances at the house of her in-laws at Karlah in Kud.
The deceased was identified as Sushma Devi (26), wife of Parkash Chand of Karlah. She was brought to hospital by the in-laws and doctors declared her as brought dead.
While husband of the deceased claimed that she died after falling ill, brother of Sushma Devi alleged that his sister was killed by the in-laws.
Taking cognizance of the allegation, Police has registered a case under section 174 and initiated a probe to ascertain cause of death.
