6 PDP, Cong workers hurt in clash

MENDHAR, Dec 7: Six workers from PDP and Congress were injured during clash in Harni area of Mendhar in district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that some PDP and Congress activists had clash during the day today. Both the sides exchanged sharp edged weapons and lathis. A Tata sumo vehicle No JK-12/6083 was also damaged during clash. The left ear of a minor boy was also chopped off during clash.
Those injured were identified as Sarfraz Ahmed Khan, Shabir Ahmed, sons of Aamir Ullah Khan of Harni from PDP, and Ashiq Hussain alias Balli, Zahoor Ahmed and Mirza Daud sons of Balli and Shamim Kouser of Harni. Shabir and Mirza were referred to GMC Jammu.
BMO Mendhar, Dr Parevez Khan said that left ear of Mirza has been chopped off and two seriously injured were been referred to GMC Jammu whereas, orther victims were undergoing treatment at SDH Mendhar.
