KISHTWAR, Dec 7: The youth of Kishtwar and prominent people in a meeting here, today held under the leadership of Shamsher Singh Bhandari a Congress leader expressed concern over the abandoning of work on Rattle project making hundreds of youth jobless.
The meting demanded immediate restoration of work on the project. It urged the Union Power Minister to intervene in the matter and pursue the constructing companies to resume the work.
The meeting also demanded that work on Pacal- Dhool and Keeru -Karthai power projects be taken into hand to increase the power generation in the State as well as revenue generation in the area.
The meeting among others was addressed by Farooq Ahmed Tapal, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Nissar Ahmed Mir, Akshay Kumar and Tilak Raj Shan.
