Shingari stands with Govt to fight against terrorism

JAMMU, Dec 7: Surinder Singh Shingari, Congress candidate, Jammu West strongly condemned the attack on security forces and civilians in Kashmir valley and Jammu as well and appealed the people to rise up for peace and prosperity of the Valley.
Shingari said that “recent terrorists activities have claimed precious lives of our soldiers and civilians who are attacked in a proxy way. As a responsible opposition party we are on our commitment to cooperate in sincere and responsible efforts to defeat terrorism in all its forms” he added.
“Though terrorism in Valley was politicized by opposition during UPA rule, but we being responsible opposition stand by our PM as for as fight against terrorism is concerned that requires effective and strong proactive measures by the Government” he said.
He said that terrorism knows no religion and it is like a flame which burns the hands that carries it. He extended his deep gratitude to the brave soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in the protection of the mother land. He said that dependents of dead must be compensated properly.
Others who were present during the visit to Ward Nos 29 (Rajpura) and 8 (Dogra Hall) included Manmohan Singh, Ex corporator, Narian Dutt, Keshav Anand, Desh Raj, Rajesh Sharma, Anagad, Varun Sharma (Youth), Rajesh Gupta, RK Magotra, Kanta Bhan, senior Congress leader, Tamanna, Anita and Raj Bakhshi (Seva Dal) and other prominent citizen.
