UDHAMPUR, Dec 9: Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 21 animals, which were being smuggled to Kashmir valley in a truck.
Police has also seized the truck but its driver managed to give a slip.
The truck, bearing registration number JK02AG-0810, was intercepted by Police during a naka in Jakheni area. A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
