JAMMU, Dec 9: Saying shuffling of candidates would not save Bhartiya Janata Party in the ongoing elections, National Conference (NC) candidate from Jammu-West, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal today described the dumping of old-guards as admission of the saffron brigade about their failure and irrelevance.
“BJP can’t look towards its central leadership for saving them from the imminent defeat as its record in Jammu has been dismal during the past six years”, Jamwal said during his door to door campaign in Colonel Colony, Talab Tillo, Patoli Mangotaria and Sarwal.
Jamwal said that during his campaigning people told him horrible tales of how the chosen representatives treated them with contempt and showed Nelson’s eye towards their problem. “Due to BJP MLAs pathetic approach the constituencies they represent have suffered immensely”, Jamwal said while promising the people that he will always remain at their back and call.
The NC candidate said that being man from the masses he was aware about each problem the constituency was facing and keeping this in mind he plunged into elections to serve the people, as he believes that Jammu-West deserves a better deal.
Jamwal also decried Congress for pursuing opportunistic politics, saying they want to have best of everything without sharing the responsibility. “Whatever suits them they own and where they feel they could not deliver, blame others”, he said adding that the Congress has now exposed itself before the people.
