Congress should apologize from J&K people: Arun

JAMMU, Dec 10: BJP State Spokesperson and State Election Media Incharge Arun Kumar Gupta said that Congress should apologize from the people of the State for being a part of the Government in which the development agenda was not carried forward.
Gupta, while reacting to the statement of former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad that Omar Abdullah is responsible for not carrying forward the development agenda, said that Congress was part of the Government and supported NC for six years and is therefore equally responsible for the lack of development in the State.
He alleged that Congress supported NC in all their misdeeds and now is misleading the people by putting the entire blame on NC.
Gupta said that Congress has only one agenda and that is to remain in power by any means possible. Congress always compromised with their core issues to remain in power and likes to sit in the lap of either NC or PDP to be a part of Government.
Azad should apologize to the people of the state for supporting NC and being a part of Government, he asserted.
He said that Congress did nothing for the welfare of the State and closed their eyes on swindling of money sent for the development of the State. Gupta said that people of J&K have seen their real faces and that’s why people have thrown them out during Lok Sabha elections and same results will be repeated in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.
