JAMMU, Dec 10:  Prof Bhim Singh, founder JKNPP, has alleged gross violation of Code of Conduct by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Raising the issue with CEC, Mr Singh alleged that  during PM’s visit to Srinagar, all public roads in and around Amar Singh Club were decorated with PM flags, banners and  slogans while  posters and banners were also pasted on the public Chinar trees, Government buildings and roads.
“The PM’s posters with his mission Kashmir 44+ were carrying map of Jammu and Kashmir sans India.  The Prime Minister of India pasted the map of Jammu and Kashmir without the entire national flag. This is a grave violation of the rules and amounts to criminal negligence ignoring the signs of national integration only to appease the anti-national elements at home and abroad,” Mr Singh said.
The JKNPP leader also alleged that the Doordarshan and public media gave false information that Modi was addressing one lac crowd in Srinagar public meeting when the total capacity of the ground was four thousand one hundred only.  The entire Kashmir valley was put under undeclared curfew on 8th December and this resulted in complete collapse of business, trade, and educational institutions, he added.
“This situation denied and opportunity to the opposition parties to continue their political campaign, particularly in the districts of Srinagar and Budgam as this area was converted into police camp.  I had to address four election rallies in Srinagar district which were naturally prohibited which is not only violation of code of conduct but denial of equal opportunity to the Panthers Party to hold election meetings in Srinagar,”  Prof Bhim Singh said and demanded urgent action against Narendra Modi.
