PNB inaugurates ATM

JAMMU, Dec 11: Punjab National Bank inaugurated ATM in Lower Roop Nagar, today.
Inaugurated by Mohd Latif Mir DGM PNB Jammu Circle. Latif said that on account of massive launch of PMJDY by PM  Narendra Modi the bank is aggressively opening up ATMs across the State to enable PMJDY beneficiaries an easy access to banking facilities.
He said that the bank in Jammu and Kashmir has already opened around 40000 accounts under PMJDY and equivalent number of Rupee cards stand issued to these beneficiaries.
He informed the press that around 15 more ATMs are in line to be made operational in the State by 31, December 2014 making a total of 131 ATMs of the bank in the State.
The inaugural ceremony was also attended by  Vijay Mahanori Senior Manager BO Janipur with which the inaugurated ATM is linked.  Sunil Khosa Chief Manager IT Jammu informed that the bank has launched mobile banking campaign and all efforts are being done to link all existing customers of the bank through mobile banking.
