JAMMU, Dec 11:  Stepping up door-to-door campaign in Jammu West, National Conference candidate Dharamveer Singh Jamwal today made a passionate appeal to the voters to join him in steering the constituency to a new era of progress and development.
“Time has come when the people should call the bluff of BJP, Congress and PDP who had no agenda except resorting to rhetoric”, Mr Jamwal said while interacting with people at Tirath Nagar, Pandoka Colony, Paloura  and Ustad Mohalla.
Mr Jamwal reiterated his commitment to undertake massive development of the constituency in the next six years with thrust on infrastructural upgradation in the service sectors. He said that being largely inhabited, Jammu West needs special attention towards road development, power and drinking water.
Making a mention of attempts being made by elements inimical to progress and development to mislead the public opinion by indulging in falsehood and inciting passions, Mr Jamwal said these will not detract him or the development-craving people of the area from their chosen path of achieving the set goals.  “Our journey to progress and development cannot stop because of the vicious atmosphere being created by some elements for their vested interest”, he added.
Among others, Chander Mohan Sharma, Som Raj Taroch, Veena, Ashwani Chadak, Rajinder Singh, Chain Singh, Kranti Shah, Sagar Singh, Sanjeev Diwan, Raj Kumar Nargotra, Darshan Taroch, Ashish and Sham Singh accompanied Mr Jamwal during his door to door campaign.
