JAMMU, Dec 11: Rajesh Gupta, BJP candidate Jammu East Constituency held a big public rally at Mubarak Mandi here today. Earlier a door to door campaign was held in the area of Mohalla Paharian which was followed by another programme at Mohalla Mastgarh, Jammu. Ram Vilas Sharma, Education Minister of Haryana was the chief guest in the programme while Praveen Sharma, former Minister in Himachal Pradesh was the special guest. Sethi, Prabhari Jammu East, Purnima Sharma, Pradesh Mahila Morcha Prabhari, Kuldeep Kandhari, Virender Raina, Bhau Harbans Singh Mehta London Wale, Dinesh Gupta, Suresh Jamwal, and Purshottam Gupta. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Ramesh Sharma and Karan Singh.
Ram Vilas Sharma in his speech said that Narendra Modi has given a new dimension to the politics and economics of the country. It is certain that he will bring a new phase in thedevelopment of the State as he has brought in Gujarat. There is no doubt that his new team of the candidates in the Jammu and Kashmir is very capable and sincere. The honest credentials of Rajesh Gupta are already established and people are in know of his grass root level work. He has made a big mark as a Corporator in the area by dint of his hard work and diligence and he has the potential to change the face of the Jammu East Constituency.
Praveen Sharma, former Minister in the Himachal Government who has been camping in the constituency to focus on the success of the BJP candidate eulogized the role of Rajesh Gupta. He made a scathing attack on the policies of the previous governments who have made Jammu and Kashmir a near bankrupt State politically and exconomically. Today the wole world is watching the elections in Jammu and Kashmir and are eagerly awaiting its results.
Rajesh Gupta, in his address said that the Mission 44 campaign would change the destiny of the State under the great leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People have very great expectation from the new leadership at the Centre and there is an imperative need to change the political scenario in the State as well. Maharashtra and Haryana have paved the way and would act as a harbinger of positive change of government in the state. It is now the turn of our people to convert this massive opportunity and sentiment into electoral victory for the BJP, he added.
