Head Clerk in BMO office caught accepting bribe

SRINAGAR, Dec 11:  A Head Clerk in the office of BMO Trehgam, Kupwara, has been caught red handed by the Vigilance Organization Kashmir while accepting bribe.
The accused, namely Gh Rasool of Alchezab, Kupwara, was accepting bribe of Rs 6000 as first installment of illegal gratification from his own colleague, a Health Educator in the BMO office, for clearing Special Pay arrear bills of the latter.
The trap was laid by the Vigilance Organization on a complaint by the Health Educator Showkat Ali Wani, who alleged that the Head Clerk was demanding Rs 10,000 from him as illegal gratification to clear the bill.
