2 injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Dec 11: Two persons were injured in two separate road mishaps that took place at Amphalla and Baghe Bahu are of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a speeding tipper hit a pedestrian namely Bimla Devi (38) wife of Kiran Dass, a resident of New Plot, while crossing a road here at Amphalla, this evening and left her seriously injured. The severely injured woman was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
In another incident, one person namely Satbir Singh, son of Vijay Singh, resident of Kunjwani Bypass, received serious injuries when an unknown vehicle hit him while crossing a road at Bagh-e-Bahu area of city outskirts. In unconscious condition, the victim was rushed to GMCH Jammu, where his condition is critical.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
