SAMBA, Dec12: AICC secretary and in-charge J&K affairs of the party Mainul Haque (MLA), addressed an election meeting at Sainik Colony in Samba Assembly constituency today and appealed to the voters to support Congress party for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
AICC secretary in his address appealed to the people to further strengthen the Congress party for a better future of J&K State. He said that Congress party is the only secular force acceptable in all the three regions and has emerged strong because of people’s support to its policies and programmes and it will lead the State to peace, progress and prosperity.
He appealed to the voters to cast their valuable vote in favour of Subash Bhagat, Congress candidate from Samba who is known for his honesty and simplicity.
Other prominent leaders who addressed the gathering included Namrata Sharma, Manjit Singh Jatt, Mian Nazir Ahmed, Madan Lal Kashap, Col Charanjit Singh, Bhagwan Singh and Rajiv Sharma.
