Redressal of problems of border people on NC priority: Sadhotra

JAMMU, Dec 12: National Conference candidate from Marh Assembly constituency, Ajay Sadhotra addressed a series of meetings in village Kothey, Kukerian, Sandwan, Kutteya, Bhagatpur, Swaran Colony Gole Gujral and Thub.
While addressing the gatherings, Mr Sadhotra recalled the problems faced by people residing on border areas during the cease fire violations and unprovoked shelling from across the border which was an act of desperation among different centres of power across the border. “The people residing on border areas were affected and the leadership of National Conference did its best possible to provide safe shelter, food and other essential needs to the affected people,” he said.
Mr Sadhotra asserted that the problems of the inhabitants of border area shall be redressed on priority so that in case of any such situation in future, the people may not face any sort of trouble and a sense of confidence is instilled among them. He requested the people to vote in favour of National Conference which is certain to form the next Government in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
At village Kotteya, number of persons joined National Conference and expressed faith in the leadership of Omar Abdullah and Ajay Sadhotra.
Others who spoke in the meetings, include Kashmira Singh, Subash Sharma Sarpanch, Kasturi Lal Sharma, Samitro Devi, Ch Bachan, Amarnath, Swaran Singh, Kapil Dev Singh, Laxman Singh, Man Mohan Banmotra, S Jai Singh, Gurjinder Singh, Subash Sharma, Bikram Singh, Ranjeet Singh and Amrik Singh.
