JAMMU, Dec 12: J&K Pardesh Mahila Congress Committee has appealed the voters to vote in favour of Congress candidates.
President All India Mahila Congress, Shobha Oza and president Pardesh Mahila Congress Committee Indu Pawar (MLA) addressed the gathering at Shahidi Chowk party headquarters and appealed the party workers to reach out to the masses and seek support for Congress party on development agenda. They asked people to support Congress for its track record of ensuring massive development in the State. They said that only Congress can ensure better development in the State.
They maintained that hollow promises being made by some parties are hoax. Peace, harmony and secularism in the State ruled by Congress has progressed at faster rate and your vote in favour of Congress to elect Congress Govt in State will ensure progress of all regions of this State also. Ms Pawar asked for support to Congress candidates for equitable progress of all the regions of the State.
“Our manifesto is very clear about the work which Congress will do in the State when it comes to power. In recent past public of the State knows the rapid progress made in all the fields like roads, health, power, education,” she maintained.
She appealed all the women members to come out in support of Congress candidates by holding door -to -door meetings in favour of Congress for secularism, peace, employment, education & infrastructural development of all regions of State.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Champa Devi, Veena Devi, Parveen, Narinder Kour, Prabha Slathia, Reeta, Geeta, Ashu, Vandana & Rozi.
