JAMMU, Dec 13: National Conference candidate for Jammu West Dharamveer Singh Jamwal exhorted people to see through the game-plan of opportunistic political parties which had joined hands to usurp the power by exploiting public sentiment.
During door-to-door campaign at Majdoor Basti, Resham Ghar, Toph Sherkhania, Bhagwati Nagar and Talab Tillo, Jamwal castigated BJP for creating communal divide to derive political mileage and the Congress for indulging in worst type of opportunism to hoodwink the public opinion.
He said National Conference stands for unity between various communities and taking the State to new pinnacles of progress and development.  He cautioned people against divisive tendencies of elements inimical to secular ethos and said polarising society is not in the larger interest of Jammu that has been a shinning example of communal ethos.
Jamwal reiterated that development of Jammu-West remains top on his agenda for the next six years and sought people’s mandate in taking forward this mission with a missionary spirit. He urged the people, especially youngsters, to join him in this effort so that the area develops as a model constituency for others to emulate.
“Your support will encourage me to serve you with missionary spirit”, he told his voters during interactive sessions and sought support for the forward looking policies of National Conference.
Jamwal was accompanied by Ashok Kumar, Jagdish Kumar, Sham Mehra, Rahul Sharma, Vikas, David, Raju Kapoor, Sonu Uppal, Lakha, Sunny, Paul, Basher, Som Raj Taroac and, Rajinder Singh.
