JAMMU, Dec 13: Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA) recognized Soon Kwon, Managing Director, LG Electronics India with the ‘Man of Electronics’ award at their 35th Annual Function held in New Delhi.
The coveted award was presented by esteemed chief guest of the event, Minister of State for Planning (Independent Charge) and Defence, Rao Inderjit Singh.
The prestigious ‘Man of Electronics’ award received by Kwon is recognition of his exceptional performance and amazing contribution to the growth and promotion of Consumer Electronics industry in India.
Being an LG veteran and having worked across global markets in the past 31 years, Kwon took over the position of Managing Director, LGE India in December 2010, to succeed LG’s growing business footprint in India. In his four years stint with LGE India, Kwon has successfully transformed the company’s business strategy and image in the country and established LG as a premium consumer electronics brand, with an extremely strong and promising product portfolio. Under his leadership, LG has become one of the most loved consumer brands in the country and today India is one of the top 5 markets for LG Electronics globally.
