JAMMU, Dec 13: Institute of Public Opinion (IPO), Jammu and Kashmir, organized an interaction meet with Union Minister of Finance, Information & Broadcasting Arun Jaitley, regarding the development of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly Jammu Province.
Prominent dignitaries including doctors, Chartered Accountants, Senior advocates, Industrialists and various heads from other professions, interacted with the Minister. Among the many issues discussed, prominent included development of IT infrastructure, Tourism, Food processing infrastructure, education hub, medical tourism and various other important issues pertaining to Jammu Province, thereby taking it forward for generations of huge business and employment opportunities. It was greatly felt by all the dignitaries that due to lack of basic infrastructure, the employment opportunities are negligible, with the result all the educated youngsters have to move out of Jammu, thus causing a huge economical and emotional deficit in the system.
In his opening remarks, Arun Jaitley emphasis that the erstwhile Praja Parishad and Jana Sangh, started their ideological journey from Jammu and Kashmir and today BJP has emerged as one of the largest governing Governments in the country. However, he said that for the last 12 years, the Congress, PDP and NC have virtually spoiled everything and no development has taken place.
Arun Jaitley dwelled upon all these issues and emphasized that in order to accompalish development agenda, it is very important for the opinion makers to decide their fate and future by electing a government which works for them, for their growth and development.
While strongly putting across point, Arun Kumar Gupta, Chairman, Institute of Public Opinion, explained in details as to where the deficit come from and how the citizens are looking forward to the situation. These issues have been totally ignored for the last 67 years of the governance.
