JAMMU, Dec 13: A young man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Narayani Mohalla (Jammu), a police spokesman said.
He said the youth has been identified as Bobby (24), son of Kewal, a resident of Narayani Mohalla, Jammu.
He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition is stated to be stable, he added.
However, it was not known why he took this extreme step.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
