MENDHAR, Dec 13: The police has arrested a villager Mohd Sadiq for committing murderous attack on a teacher along with his two sons in Mendhar area two days ago.
While the police nabbed the accused villager who had attacked teacher with axe, his two sons are still at large. Teacher Mohd Sagir Khan is still hospitalized. The SDM has ordered inquiry into the illegal encroachment on the Govt School land by the accused villager who for petty issue of intrusion of volleyball in the field had attacked teacher. This had evoked protest by the staff and students.
In yet another case of murderous attack on poor labourer Mohd Fayaz at Panjni in Balakote , the police has registered a FIR No. 197/2014 against two Govt teachers Mohd Usman and Mohd Sarfraz and Panch Mohd Iqbal of the same area. They had beaten up the labourer when he had gone to drink water at the spring near teachers’ house at the village in Balakote. Police has sent teams to arrest the accused persons.
