Tributes paid to martyrs of Parliament attack

JAMMU, Dec 13: The J&K Freedom Fighters Association today paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Parliament attack, which had taken place on December 13, 2001.
The members of the Association kindled candles in the memory of the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives while fighting the terrorists during the attack.  A two-minute silence was also observed on the occasion as mark of respect to the martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, president of Association Ved Gandotra, chairman B L Gupta and M S Katoch threw light on the great sacrifices made by Indian security forces in defending the people from terrorists and their handlers.  They also asked Pakistan to stop abetting terrorist activities in India and warned a befitting reply in the neighbouring country does not take restrain the rogue elements in Pak establishment.
