JAMMU, Dec 13: Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment & a senior national SC leader, Thaber Chand Gehlot, while addressing a series of election rallies in Raipur-Domana, RS Pura and Gandhi Nagar constituencies,  said that Jammu and Kashmir is the crown of India and is known as Paradise on earth but it pains the BJP leadership and the Prime Minister to see that the State has been ignored in development by successive governments which retarded its progress.
He said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi wants to make State prosperous, developed and a heaven in the real sense to ensure that it achieves the glory befitting the crown of India. He further said BJP ruled states like Gujrat and Madhya Pradesh have achieved immense progress and advancement and are cited as an example of competent, committed and honest governance. Every state in India wants to emulate the example of Gujarat and treat it as a role model to follow. The 24×7 power supply in MP and Gujarat are the outcome of honest and sincere mindset of the BJP governments in these states, he added. The BJP in these states has set a standard of honesty and dedication which Congress and other parties are in no position to accomplish. These states have adopted welfare schemes for weaker sections of the society to ensure their progress alongwith the rest of the society. The farmers, women, Dalits, poor and youth are being taken special care of in these states and which has resulted in their far higher growth.
