JAMMU, Dec 15: The Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) held protest meeting under the leadership of Shakti Gupta, chairman, Sanjeev Bali, president, Ajaz Qazmi, general secretary, today.
The meeting put forth unconditional demands for immediate redressal which include the official who have been attached to be de-attached immediately, 600 daily wager be regularized with immediate effect and regular payment to the need based employees.
They have requested Development Commissioner Power, Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing, Jammu to intervene the issuance as soon as possible so that undesirable circumstances are avoided.
Others who spoke were Deep Mehra, Ram Lal, Subash Sharma, Ashok Gupta, Pawan Kapoor, Munish Chib, Manjeet Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Subash Bhagat and Ajay Koul.
