JAMMU, Dec 16: Describing Gandhi Nagar Constituency as a blend of urban and rural population having diverse range of desires and aspiration, National Conference (NC) candidate for Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Surinder Singh Bunty today said that he will put in his serious endeavour to fulfill the aspirations of the people living in rural as well as urban belts of Gandhi Nagar.
He was addressing a largely attended elections meetings at Bhour Camp, Lower Gadigarh and Nai Basti localities of Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
Emphasising on empowering youth by providing education which is skill oriented that can lead to job avenues in journalism, IT sector and educational sector, he said that special focus will be laid by establishing private universities, colleges and training institutes besides inviting multinational companies to constitute a common hub to train and absorb aspiring youth to transform them into respectable bread earners.
He said that NC has got many welfare schemes in the offing to ensure all round development of Gandhi Nagar Constituency taking on board people belonging to all hues and faiths. He said that NC is bound to ensure skill based education, generate suitable job avenues besides all round development of the State.
Surinder Singh assured that if given chance he will ensure development in real terms by generating avenues to overcome unemployment, illiteracy, crime against women and drug abuse. He said that inclusive development is the vision of NC and he will ensure its implementation.
He said that NC has a track record of respecting the aspirations of people overcoming all the hindrances and obstacles. Vowing to work diligently for the people of the Constituency, Surinder sought mandate from the locals for ensuring development, empowering youth and creating edifice to provide skill based education.
