JAMMU, Dec 17: Taking dig at Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress for resorting to rhetoric and gimmickrys in a fit of desperation, National Conference candidate for Jammu-West Dharamveer Singh Jamwal today said that none of their attempts would succeed in remaining relevant to political situation.
“BJP and Congress stand exposed for doing pretty little for Jammu in recent years”, he said during door to door campaign at Vishal Nagar, Shankar Vihar, Friends Lane and Jain Coloy, adding that PDP was non-existent and a non entity in the upcoming elections.
Mr Jamwal said the people of Jammu-West had been waiting for this defining moment to show their power to those who betrayed their trust and remained entangled in seeking favours for their kith and kin. “The brazen act of neglect by BJP deprived the electors of this important Assembly segment from the dividends of development, but for the care and attention given by National Conference”, he added.
The National Conference candidate said that BJP was shying away in answering the questions being posed by the people about the performance of its representative during the past six year. He said the voters are now feeling empowered enough to give their verdict on December 20.
Mr Jamwal reiterated that development of Jammu-West shall remain his agenda for the years to come and he will leave no stone unturned in changing the scenario of the constituency. He said his priority would be upgradation of roads, improvement in civic amenities and proper attention towards service sectors. “These are paramount sectors for enhancing the quality of life of the people”, he added.
Among others Vikrant Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Arvind Sharma, Satish Nargotra, Pinkt Bhat, Sunny, Aman Ankush Langer and Rohit Kerni accompanied Mr Jamwal during his door to door campaign.
