Upper Roop Nagar lacks facilities

JAMMU, Dec 17: Highlighting various civic services being ignored by the concerned agencies like transport, shopping markets, medical services, Government schools, library, recreational facilities for children etc for worthy living conditions in Upper Roop Nagar Colony, Jammu, all residents of Sector 4 have unanimously pledged to cast their votes only in favour of those candidates who would ensure proper development and upgradation of civic amenities.
At a meeting held under the chairmanship of Sector 4, Roop Nagar Welfare Committee, president Narinder Sharma, speakers expressed concern over apathetic attitude of authorities for not providing these basic needs to them since setting of the colony.
There is no proper garbage dumping sites and polythene bags lying scattered uncared. At largely attended meeting, residents pledged to vote in favour of the candidate who would not play with them but take care of proper development in the area.
