JAMMU, Dec 18: Chief Education Officer Jammu, who has been booked in Class IV backdoor appointments case, today received some sort of relief as Investigating Officer stated before the High Court that he shall not be arrested till Monday.
When the matter came up for hearing, Senior Advocate BS Slathia appearing for the petitioner submitted before the High Court that he has moved an application for placing on record certain documents which shall be responded to by Senior AAG Gagan Basotra.
Upon this, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur directed Registry to list this bail application on Monday and observed that since arguments have already been heard in part, the Investigating Officer, who is present in Court states that the petitioner shall not be arrested till Monday.
