The problems with which Sikhs in the State are burdened with were enumerated at the meeting, including denial of representation in the State Legislature, refusal of minority status to them, non-recognition of  Punjabi language, not adhering to the provisions and the mandate of J&K Sikh Gurudwara Prabandak Committee Act by not conducting the Sikh Gurudwara  elections for last 10 years etc.
