JAMMU, Dec 18: Chief patron of NPP Prof  Bhim Singh concluded election campaign at in Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency with a commitment to establish Jammu Dogra Pahari State as it existed in 1846 before the signing of Treaty of Amritsar.
Prof Singh alleged that the Kashmiries under the leadership of  Sheikh Mohd Abdullah were against this Treaty and so were all the Kashmiri leaders.  This Treaty made Kashmiries to start `Quit Kashmir Movement’ against the Dogra rulers supported, abetted and financed by Pt Nehru and the Congress.
Prof Singh said that the Dogras were made second class citizens and  Jammu as colony  of the  Kashmiri rulers since 1947 and let to suffer for six decades.  This is the time that Jammu State is brought back to its glory and its cultural, social, political and linguistic identity is restored. That is possible only when the State is established and the Parliament is empowered to Legislate in respect of all the new three states including Kashmir Valley and  Ladakh-Gilgit.
NPP leader declared that this is possible with Amendment in Article 370 so that J&K is reorganized and the people of all the three states are brought under the political control of the Parliament of India.
Prof Singh appealed the people of Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency to elect their first woman MLA from Gandhi Nagar.
Anita Thakur party candidate from Gandhi Nagar also addressed the gathering at Gole Market and sought  support for her.
