JAMMU, Dec 18: On the last day of his election campaign, the sitting MLA and BJP candidate from Bishnah constituency Ashwani Sharma today conducted a tour of various areas including Arnia, Nonja, Tondli, Natral and Chandla villages, interacted with the people and appealed them to vote in his favour.
Addressing the gatherings, Sharma said during his present tenure, many development activities were initiated and many will be started more, if he is re-elected.
He said, “It is only due to the role of previous Governments in the State, the area sans all the development activities as the Government failed to provide them the adequate funding in this regard as many projects of developments failed to get completed on time and people especially the farmer community in this constituency was deprived of most modern facilities available for the agricultural practices.
He further held the previous Governments responsible for their failure to solve the problems of border people, who are still struggling and moving from pillar to post to get their grievances redress.
