JAMMU, Dec 20: State High Court today stayed the communication of Director Finance regarding reduction in pay of Registrar/Demonstrator in the Government Medical College, Jammu.
The stay was ordered in a petition filed by 35 doctors, who are working as Registrars/ Demonstrators, seeking quashment of the communication addressed by Director Finance to Principal Govt Medical College Jammu.
After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioners, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat modified the order dated November 19, 2014 passed in instant CMA and said that operation of impugned communication No HME/ Acctts/ 98/2014 dated October 29, 2014 of Director Finance shall remain stayed qua the petitioners.
Justice Bhat directed Principal GMC to pay salary to the petitioners which they were getting before passing the impugned communication.
