JAMMU, Dec 21:
With a day left for Jammu and Kashmir to see surprising results after the counting of Assembly Polls, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said the UPA Government should have conferred ‘Bharat Ratna’ on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vahjapyee.
“I wish the UPA Government had risen above politics and conferred the Bharat Ratna on Vajpayee sahib, would have been a fitting gesture,” Mr Abdullah tweeted on the micro-blogging site late this evening.
He further said the UPA had lost the chance thus tweeting, “#lost chance.” (AGENCIES)
