Srinagar, Dec 22: A 70-year-old man has slipped to death while collecting firewood in forest area of Kupwara.
A police spokesman said Mohammad Ayub Tayal, son of Safdar Ali Tayal of Seemari Hajim, Kupwara had gone to collect fire wood to nearby forests. While collecting the firewood he slipped and rolled down from a hill, resulting in his on spot death.
His body has been retrieved.
