Ready to support PDP to keep BJP at bay: Saroori

Kishtwar, Dec 24:  Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today held series of impressive rallies at Bus Stand Kishtwar, Drabshalla, Thathri, Khara, Bathri, Bumboo, Jakyas, Bhatyas and Bhalessa areas of Inderwal Assembly segment where people gave him rousing receptions.
While addressing mammoth gatherings, Saroori expressed his delight at the win and thanked to the people of Inderwal for giving him opportunity for the third time with convincing margins of 13,000 votes to fulfill their dreams and to take Inderwal’s development journey to new heights.
He also said victory in the Inderwal Assembly segment was due to the efforts which the Congress workers had been vigorously campaigning among the voters. “My victory is the victory of people of Inderwal, victory of secularism and politics of development and non violence”, he added.
Saroori further said that Congress is ready to support People Democratic Party (PDP) to keep the BJP at bay. “We can have a common minimum agenda with the PDP as we have allied with PDP in the past”, Saroori said and added that it will be easier for PDP to come together with Congress than BJP to form Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
