SSB/Sel/Secy/2014/3024-39 and SSB/Sel/Secy/2014/3040-55, Dated:23-12-2014 are hereby withdrawn.

SUBJECT: Appointment of Junior Assistant in the J&K Civil Aviation (Subordinate) Services.
WHEREAS, on the recommendation of the J&K Services Selection Board, furnished vide their letter No: SSB/Sel/Secy/014/6669-75 dated: 04-08-2014, the following four (4) candidates were appointed as Junior Assistant, vide Government Order No: 21-CAD of 2014 dated: 28-08-2014.

WHEREAS, vide aforesaid Government Order, the appointees were asked to join in the office of Civil Aviation Commissioner within a period of 15 days from the date of issue of Government Order; and
WHEREAS, Civil Aviation Commissioner, vide his letter No. CAW (Estt) Sel-Jr-Asstt./116/641 dated 14.10.2014, has intimated that only one candidate namely Mr. Bener Ji Bhan S/o Mr. Moti Lal Bhan R/o H.No. 131, JMC Main Chowk, Upper Barnai, PO Muthi, Jammu (RBA), appearing at Serial No:4 of the aforesaid Government Order, has joined in the Department within stipulated period; and
WHEREAS, in view of the unprecedented flood which hit the J&K State on 4th of September, 2014, the joining time of the appointees was extended by a further period of 15 days vide this Office Notice bearing No: CMS/CAD/50/2014 dated 21-10-2014 with the directions to report in the Office of Civil Aviation Commissioner, Civil Secretariat, Jammu within 15 days from the date of issue of this notice; and
WHEREAS, even after extension of joining time by 15 days, the candidates have not joined.
NOW, THEREFORE, the appointees, appearing at Serial No: 1 to 3 of the aforesaid Government Order, who have not so far joined in the office of the Civil Aviation Commissioner are directed to report in the Office of the Civil Aviation Commissioner, Civil Secretariat, Jammu within 15 days from the date of final Notice. In case of failure of appointees to join within the stipulated period, his/her appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled without any further notice.
