SRINAGAR, Dec 27: One person was killed and three others sustained injuries in different road accidents in the Valley today.
A police spokesman said a Tractor hit a lady Foli Begam wife of Ghulam Din Khan of Kanoosa at Gujjar Pati Kanoosa in Bandipora resulting her on spot death.
An unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Shafi Sultan son of Ghulam Mustafa of Sultan Mohalla Ashaibagh at Mehdi Chowk Ashaibagh in Nigeen. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
A Scorpio driven by Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh of Panzgam hit a boy Zakir Ahmad Mir son of Gulzar Ahmad of Panzgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tractor driven by Nazir Ahmad Sofi son of Mohammad Sabir Sofi of Kadalbal Charsoo hit a pedestrian Abdul Rashid Bhat of Kreeri Pattan at Charsoo in Awantipora. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidnets.
